As part of Pride Month, join The Permission Space and Love Affair Basement for a special community gathering centred around connection.We'll begin downstairs in the basement with gentle guided breathing, reflection, and intention setting designed to help you reconnect with yourself and the present moment.Afterwards, we'll gather in the garden for nourishing açai bowls topped with fresh fruit, alongside freshly squeezed orange juice and space to connect in community.Held on the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, this gathering offers a chance to pause, reconnect, and mark the beginning of a new season. Traditionally a time for reflection and celebration, the solstice invites us to notice where we are, what matters to us, and what we'd like to carry into the season ahead.Whether Pride Month feels like a celebration, a season of reflection, or you're still finding your place within queer community, you are warmly welcome here.This is a space to slow down, connect, and be in community.No experience is needed.No sharing is required.Just arrive as you are.ABOUT THE BREATH SESSIONIf you've never tried breathwork before, you're in the right place.This session focuses on simple, accessible breathing practices that create space for awareness, regulation, and self-connection.There is nothing to achieve and no expectation to have a particular experience.The practice can be done seated or lying down.WHAT'S INCLUDED• 60 minute guided breathing, reflection, and intention setting session• Nourishing açai bowl topped with fresh fruit• Freshly squeezed orange juice• Garden social and community connection• LGBTQIA+ affirming space• Optional live music in the garden afterwardsGOOD TO KNOW• Please bring a mat if you have one• Spaces are intentionally limited to 20 peopleWHO IS THIS FOR?• Looking for queer community beyond nightlife• Craving a slower pace• Feeling disconnected from yourself or others• Curious about breathing practices and self-reflection• Looking for softer ways to spend Pride Month• Wanting to meet like-minded people in a welcoming environment
