Raffle Comedy Club is thrilled to be hosting some of our favourite acts’ Edinburgh fringe previews this summer.
In June, we’ve got wonderful comedians Zoe Brownstone and Courtney Büchner bringing you a Work-in-Progress of their new stand up hours.
Zoe Brownstone @zoebrownstone
Zoe Brownstone is a Canadian comic currently living in England's Kingdom of Hackney. After a successful debut at the Edinburgh Fringe, Zoe is prepping for her second hour of stand up while featuring at some of the UK’s best comedy clubs. Catch her at The Bill Murray, Komedia, Big Belly and select theatres for work in progress dates before the festival season kicks off. Check for dates and fun facts at zoebrownstone.com or on social media.
Zoe is excited to build her brand new show: an unauthorized survival guide for staying hopeful while everything quietly explodes like a Dyson blender without a lid (do they make blenders?). How To Be Happy All The Time is an absurd, spiralling hour about hard choices, ill-advised intimacy, and family drama that feels both relatable while also unimaginable. It’s a show about chasing happiness like it’s a competitive sport — and losing beautifully. Strange, honest, and joyfully unhinged.
Sarah Roberts @sarahroberts_69
Do you think we’re ever truly forgiven? Sarah has never gotten over anything. Not because she’s annoying, because she’s cursed. Oh, and she needs your soul for something. Nothing bad OK!!
