Something prowls London: it's sweaty, gelatinous, and looks like James Corden. Join Bizarro in its first outing, a heckle-along screening of Tom Hooper's 2019 diasterpiece, Cats. A CGI slopfest before AI took the reins, this adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Tony Award-winning stage musical is the cinema car crash of our time, the result of a 90-hour work week for the VFX artists and Oscar-winning director Hooper sending an unfinished cut to premiere.
(Cat)-littered with embarrassed famous faces (Taylor Swift, Idris Elba, Judi Dench, etc), The Guardian promised that Cats would "haunt viewers for generations" while Variety termed it "a half-digested hairball of a movie". A guttural reaction is inevitable, which is why at this Bizarro screening, the claws are out. Hiss and meow as you must while cabaret artist and host Joe Black guides you to laugh, cry and jeer at this starry clump of cinematic cat food.

What should I bring?
Yourself! A friend (with a ticket, obvs)! Please don't bring your own food and drink. The Bee's Mouth serves a great variety of beverages, and there are plenty of food options on Western Road for before the screening.
What is a heckle-along?
Unlike most film screenings, viewers can shout and laugh more openly at the film. Viewers are not required to heckle, and we ask attendees to be considerate of others. Bizarro is a safe space and will not tolerate any hate speech.
Can I dress up?
Please! That would be paw-some (sorry).
