AceSpaceLdn is a community group for asexual and aromantic spectrum adults to meet, make friends and share experiences.
Thames Hospice has created an art trail of Elephants across Windsor, Slough and Maidenhead called “Trunks across the Thames”. We will be using the app to track and locate the art elephants across Windsor and take some fun selfies. If you want to start earlier and collect elephants in other locations before joining us you are very welcome. The leader will have the app so if you don't want to download it for any reason, you can follow along with them.

How to get there:
There are a variety of ways to get to Windsor and Eton Central Station. You can take the train from Paddington to Slough and change for a train to Windsor. The train from Slough to Windsor is 1 stop - 6 minutes. Alternatively you can get to Windsor Riverside station from Waterloo and walk to the central station up the hill. There is also a bus - 702 that starts at London Victoria and goes through Kensington and Hammersmith to Windsor.
Why you need a ticket:
We want to ensure that everyone is supported and does not get lost and that the group is small and friendly.
Weather:
Please bring something to sit on and water and if it sunny wear suncream. If it rains we will find somewhere to go that is under cover and stop for a chat. The station is part of the Royal Windsor Shopping Centre and has restaurants and cafes.
Accessibility
We will be walking around Windsor, which can be quite steep and hilly. There are public toilets near the river, and we will most likely stop at a cafe or restaurant during the event, we will make sure to find one with an accessible toilet in advance. There is also an accessible toilet in the central station.
Covid:
This is an outdoors event, however as always we encourage all attendees to test 48 hours and on the day of the event.
Zero tolerance for discrimination
Ace/arophobia is not welcome, we will ask you to leave. We have zero tolerance towards discrimination of any kind including; racism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia etc.
