Our September Challenge hike for queer folks of colour and queer migrants - and our very first Queer Routes adventure - will be the Box Hill Circuit!
This will be an eight mile circular walk with some steep climbs, descents, and steps. This challenging hike can feel very demanding, but it takes in some beautiful viewpoints around the Box Hill area, and has plenty of amenities along the way, including a delightful cafe at the top of the hill!
We've given the difficulty of this hike a full Five Boots, because it involves sustained climbing and descending repeatedly, and it can feel very intense, especially if you're newer to hiking. If you're uncertain about if this hike is for you, please feel free to message us on here for more information!

About Queer Routes:
We’re a group of queer migrants and queer folks of colour who’ve gotten together to bring you Queer Routes, a brand new group offering small-group hikes for QTIPoC and queer migrants based in or around London.
Our hikes are all about building community, meeting new people, learning from each other, and connecting with the land around us. With smaller groups, we’re aiming to give you the chance to have deeper conversations, and to create lasting and more meaningful connections.
