Join us for our Baytna refugee-led supperclub series at Thingy cafe EVERY 2nd and 4th Friday monthly!

Menu for the 11th of September - Tajik and Uzbek Cuisines

Starter: Tajik Aubergine Salad (sulfur dioxide)
Main Course: Samarkand Palav: Traditional rice dish with tender lamb, carrots & spices (Vegan Palav version with Mushrooms) With side Salad & Yogurt(milk or soy for vegan option)
Dessert: C. Asian Napoleon cake (Gluten, egg, milk. Vegan option available.

Cuisines will rotate monthly amongst Syrian, Tajik, Palestinian, Iranian, Iraqi and Pakistani. Bringing you the best dinners made by amazing talented refugee chefs.

Each dinner depending on the cuisine, will have it's own music playing from that specific country so you can have an immersive cultural experience.

Doors open at 7pm.

7:30 is Starter
8:00 is Main course

8:30 is Desert

9:00 is Quick hello to the refugee team then Saudi Dj will play music

Drinks can be purchased from the bar
Garden and cafe is open until 10 pm
You can come eat and go, or you can stick around, dance and socialise with the refugee chefs and guests or you can just chill and listen to their country's music!
