Swap shopping for sustainable making - join us for a low-key, maximum-merriment upcycling workshop brought to you by artist @KirstieTrew
All materials provided. We'll have an assortment of second-hand wreath frames available to build from, and all the upcycling materials you need to create your very own wreath decoration to take home. Choose from yarns, felt & materials, vintage finds, trinkets and mini lights to create any style you like from maximalist camp to minimalist chic.
No crafting experience required, and no pressure to make anything "Pinterest perfect".
Because we're working with reclaimed materials, every wreath will be completely different.
Open to all, whether you celebrate Christmas, another winter festival, or simply enjoy getting creative during the darker months, you're very welcome here.
This event takes place at KTREW Tattoo, a queer-owned and proudly inclusive tattoo studio in Birmingham’s Gay Village.
This is a sober family friendly event.
All attendees below 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Expect a relaxed, LGBTQ+ friendly environment with camp creative chaos. Come as you are. Participate and chat as much or as little as you like.
We guarantee no itchy Christmas jumpers required, and no questions about your achievements in 2026!
