- Topic: More than a label: What does LGBTQ+ mean to you?
- Date: Tuesday 13th October, 2026
- Time: 6 - 7.30pm
About this session
LGBTQ+ can mean different things to different people at different times in their lives. For some, it can be an important part of who we are; for others, it may be just one part of a much bigger story.
In this session, we’ll explore identity, labels, community and belonging. We’ll think about how our identities may have changed over time, whether labels feel helpful or limiting, and what being part of the LGBTQ+ community means to us today.
There’s no right or wrong answer, just a chance to share experiences, perspectives and perhaps discover what we have in common.
- What does LGBTQ+ mean to you?
- Do labels help you express who you are?
- Where do you feel you belong?
