Are you wanting a safe space to develop a drag king character?
Looking for constructive feedback on act ideas?
Working on a new performance and want to test it out?
Then don’t miss these ‘Werk In Progress’ drag king act development sessions and get your chance to perform in front of a supportive audience at showcase in February.
Starting on November 7th, we are bringing a series of drag king act development sessions to the Glasgow Women's Library.
Free to attend and open to people at any stage in their drag king journey, you are welcome to come to any or all of the sessions, stay for the whole time, or just drop in for while.
Each session will be facilitated by an experienced drag king mentor and is a ‘devising and sharing’ space for drag kings to develop their skills in a supportive environment with fellow kings and get constructive creative feedback on their act ideas or performances in development.
FREE TICKETS:
Registration for any and all sessions needs to be done via the Glasgow Women's Library (GWL) website directly (if you get a ticket here via OutSavvy you will still need to register via the library website): click here for the GWL event booking links
