Join GPN on Tuesday 26th January 2020 at 6:30pm with Stuart Bruce Cameron - CEO and Founder of UHLALA Group

In 2009, Stuart Bruce Cameron founded the first career fair for LGBT+ people in Europe. Today Sticks&Stones is the biggest fair of its kind in Europe and brings LGBT+ people in contact with LGBT+ friendly employers. Every year more than 100 exhibitors and 3.000+ visitors join the fair to get informed on job opportunities, the LGBT+ Diversity commitment of the exhibitors and network.
Over the past years, more and more projects have been added to UHLALA Group’s portfolio. As CEO and founder of the Social Business, Stuart is behind the global LGBT+ Leadership Community RAHM, the LGBT+ Tech Community Unicorns in Tech, the LGBT+ Employer Seal PRIDE 500 and the Employer Excellence Programme We Stay PRIDE to only name a few. UHLALA Group also supports companies through consulting. In that context, UHLALA Group is currently working on a trans*gender guideline for Deutsche Bahn, the German railroad company. With all projects Stuart and his team are committed to the empowerment of LGBT+ people in the working world and aim at changing corporate cultures for the better.
In his presentation, Stuart will be talking about his experiences and the insights he gained from his work in the field of LGBT+ Diversity. He will discuss challenges, successes, pitfalls and best practice examples that companies might face. Also, he will give recommendations as to what steps companies can take when they start getting engaged with LGBT+ Diversity. Lastly, Stuart will talk about the motivation that drives him and why LGBT+ Diversity is an affair of the heart to him.
The presentation will be followed by a Q & A session.
After this all participants have the opportunity to introduce themselves briefly after the talk. Like "Hi, I am J-F and organise events, let me know if you need help with any forthcoming celebration, meeting, incentive, conference and event."
