We wanted regular online, drop-in, Pay-what-You-can/NOTAFLOF (no one turned away for lack of funds) Queer neo-Shamanic Journeying, Yoga & Meditation sessions; so we created them!
Fish Story Gallery presents weekly online sharings of Ecstatic Queer Spiritual Practice!
In this sharing…
Please feel welcome to Journey into Yoga and Meditation; a sharing of basic practice for all experience and skill levels.
This sharing is approximately 1.5 hour; the brief journeying practice, yoga poses and meditation technique will be clearly but concisely explained and demonstrated, and we will end with a 20-minute silent meditation.
This is a mutual aid direct action, and is presented on a pay-what-you-can-basis, but no one is turned away for lack of funds. Please contact lachiva@fishstorygallery.com if you cannot access the sharing for the minimal donation offered here.
Join our Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/FishStoryGallery for less-than-£2/month for automatic access to the links and passcodes for all the sharing, plus access to a variety of additional content and benefits. You can also watch the sharing by live-stream on YouTube/FishStoryGallery or Twitch/FishStoryGallery
Basic Sharing Programme:
-Drumming
-Begin by chanting Om 3 times
-Draw a Tarot card to inspire practice
-Breathing exercises
-Listening to the sound of the drum with some brief journeying guidance
-Questions
-A series of approximately 12 yoga poses, including forward and backward bending, twists, inversions and balancing poses
-Brief meditation guidance and any Questions
-Meditation of approximately 20 minutes
-Meditation ends with a return to the drumming journey
-End the session by chanting Om x 3 and another opportunity for Questions
-This is a mutual aid ‘sharing’ of practice, so La Chiva and Fish Story Gallery do not seek to provide ‘expert’ guidance or ‘teaching’ as such, but rather a guided practice to use as an outline; participants are free and encouraged to practice with their own variations and in their own way.
-Participants will be muted upon entry to minimise disruption from background noise, but there will be opportunities to ask questions near the beginning, middle and at the end of the sharings. Participants are welcome to enter and leave the session at their convenience; and to leave their cameras on or off as they prefer.
