Werq in Progress 2021

Werq in Progress is Essex’s only drag competition, looking for new and emerging drag performers in Colchester and the surrounding areas and championing the idea that All Drag Is Valid. We are thrilled we can finally bring you this event, the proceeds of which will all go straight to Colchester Pride!

Our panel of established drag artists (Tracey Paper, Shar Cooterie, CYRO and Flick) will be on hand to offers words of wisdom and encouragement to our fabulous line up. The winner of Werq in Progress 2021 will receive a range of prizes including a paid performance slot at a future Colchester Pride event!

We are thrilled to be able to bring this event to our community in partnership with the fantastic folks at CODA and we can't wait to see the wonderful performances our contestants have created! Please come along and show them your love and support!
