We have an amazing raffle which will be drawn at the end of our comedy show (details of prizes coming soon).
Oban Lesbian Weekend is fundraising Oban's mental health, peer support group, Argyll Wellbeing Hub and local charity Oban Helps Ukraine.
We have chosen Argyll Wellbeing Hub (https://argyllwellbeinghub.com/) as we feel that mental health is something that affects us all, one way or another. Unfortunately there is a higher statistical chance of LGBTQ people (& their family & friends) suffering from mental ill health.
We believe that Argyll Wellbeing Hub plays an important part in Oban's community - from aiding mental wellbeing right through to suicide prevention.
Oban Helps Ukraine was recently set up by local people who have raised funds, bought medical supplies and donated their own time to travelling to the Ukraine to bring food, clothing and supplies and more.
We want to support Oban Helps Ukraine to help Ukranians stuck in the terrible war, as well as those who will be living in Oban by the time of Oban Lesbian Weekend.
