Rainbow Migration supports lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer and intersex (LGBTQI+) people through the asylum and immigration system. We also campaign for an asylum and immigration system that treats LGBTQI+ people fairly and with dignity. Our vision is a world where LGBTQI+ people can settle safely in the UK and lead fulfilling lives.
Our ‘No Pride In Detention’ campaign highlights the unique dangers faced by LGBTQI+ people in immigration detention and calls for an end to the detention of LGBTQI+ people. We also campaign for a time limit on detention, and ultimately for an end to the use of immigration detention in the UK.
