An LGBTQ+ boxing training session on International Women’s Day 2024 hosted by Knockout London. This session is a pay-what-you-can event for women and non-binary folk in the LGBTQ+ community. After class we will go to a nearby venue so we can chat and socialise.
Learning to box can bring a lot of physical and mental health benefits, and we’d like to encourage more LGBTQ+ women and non-binary people to take up the sport. Whether you’re an experienced boxer or have never put on a pair of gloves before, this class is open to people of any skill and ability.
Join us for just over an hour of fitness, strength, and non-contact boxing training with a supportive and friendly group. See you there!
What you need to know: Class will start at 6:45pm, but please arrive 15 mins early to get changed and wrap your hands (a coach will be on hand to help you out if you need). Make sure you’re dressed for a good workout, and please bring a water bottle. We will have gloves and hand wraps for new people to borrow, but please bring your own if you can. More info about equipment here.
Please note that Oasis has both gendered and gender-neutral changing rooms, with showers in the gendered areas. Lockers are available, and to use them you will need to use a card / phone to purchase a 30p token.
Places are limited, so please don't turn up unless you have a place booked on this system.
Knockout run classes for all members of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies throughout the week, so check out our other events on Outsavvy. Join us!
Cancellation Policy:
Tickets can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the start of the class. Please submit a refund request through OutSavvy so that we can reallocate the ticket to someone else.
