You're invited to a day of creativity, storytelling, and shared experiences, specially designed for families. With a mix of hands-on workshops, film, and cultural activities, young people and their families can take part in meaningful sessions together, at their own pace.
The day begins with a Street Art Workshop led by Maslaha, inviting participants to explore identity and community through hands-on art-making.
In the afternoon, take part in Children's Letters for Palestinian Childhoods, a workshop for young peoples aged 7+. Through storytelling and music, children will respond to both the exhibition and personal messages from children in Gaza. These messages have been created especially for this workshop by the children of Gaza Great Minds, offering a meaningful opportunity for young participants to connect, reflect, and respond in solidarity.
At 2.30pm, we’ll host a special screening of the Palestinian film Girafada, a family-friendly film that tells a story of courage, friendship, and hope in Palestine.
We’ll close the day with a Henna Workshop with Hania and Maha – a relaxed, drop-in session for all ages featuring traditional Palestinian henna designs. This is a chance to experience a beautiful cultural practice rooted in celebration and storytelling, shared in a warm and welcoming space
Come for the whole day or drop in for a session – all are welcome!
