Exhibition Launch - 1 September 2025
Join us for the launch of Palestinian Childhoods: Solidarity and Ṣumūd, an immersive experience to counter the dehumanisation of the Palestinian people. The programme features an exhibition and a series of events taking place from 1–14 September 2025 at UCL East.
The exhibition opens with a friendly gathering that includes short presentations, children’s activities and some light snacks.

Art Against GenocideAhmed Al Daalsa is a visual artist, illustrator, and photographer from the Nuseirat refugee camp in Gaza. This selection of his work, taken since October 2023, portrays children’s daily life as it unfolds amid devastation.
Grief and RageSamer Abdelnour is a sculptor and visual artist. Grief and Rage includes three bronze sculptures representing the suffering and strength of Palestinians in Gaza.
Letters for Palestinian ChildhoodsA selection of the letters and images and accompanying soundscape produced by an international group of adults and children, from Poland to South Africa, Spain and the UK.
