Film Screening: Giraffada by Rani Massalha
Join us for a special film screening of Rani Massalha's 2013 film ‘Giraffada’.
Yacine is the veterinarian of the only zoo remaining in the Palestinian West Bank. He lives alone with his 10-year old son, Ziad. Ziad is passionate about giraffes. The animals’ lives are threatened after an air raid and the only way to prevent a catastrophe is to go to Tel-Aviv. The conflict as seen by a child, part reality, part fairytale.
Please note the film contains scenes of military occupation.
