Step back in time with Andro & Eve for The Kingdom Come, Queer Through History edition of our drag king cabaret! Join us for thrills, spills and killer looks from some of the UK’s most exciting drag acts!
Hosted by King Unknown Amazon and featuring performances by Loose Willis, Pilau Prince and Major Dom with more acts TBA! With BSL interpretation for all performances.
Bring out your historical gays or theys attire or dress as your fave queer hero as we celebrate the fact our LGBTQ+ family has always been here! Dressing up is encouraged but not required.
Vegan cake, craft table and raffle of amazing prizes will be available on the night. This is an 18+ event. Ages 16+ welcome if accompanied by an adult.

You can donate to support the work of Andro and Eve by purchasing a 'SOLIDARITY TICKET' if you have the financial means to do so. All donations help us provide free and cheaper tickets to those who need them at future events. We give free tickets to refugees through our partners Lesbian Asylum Support Sheffield.
If you’d like to make an additional donation to Andro & Eve you can add a ‘Donation’ ticket to your order. A donation ticket does not guarantee you entry and you need to buy another ticket type to gain entry.
Access:
BSL will be provided. This is a seated event with chairs with backs and banquette style cushioned seating round the edge of the room. Crookes Social Club has step free access and an accessible toilet. Wheelchair spaces and seating beside wheelchairs can be reserved. All gender toilets will be provided.
There is a quiet space in the foyer away from the main event and outside seating on picnic tables. We can provide a space for changing into your fave outfit should you need this.

Location:
Crookes Social Club is in a suburb of Sheffield not far past Broomhill. The number 52 or 52a buses take you to Crookes High Street. Nearest bus stop Crookes Road / Brick St (from town). All performance will be done by 10.30pm should you need to leave to catch a bus / train. Specific COVID guidance is below.

We encourage you to bring some cash. Single tickets for our big raffle and cake are only available to buy with cash!
We take precautions to manage the risk of COVID-19
The air at this event will be cleaned for extra Covid safety by HEPA air purifers from @breatheeasysheffield Crookes Social Club has air conditioning and we limit capacity to manage airflow. Our team and artists will not attend if they have any cough or cold symptoms and are tested before the event.
We would ask that you help take responsibility for the care of our community by following the protection measures:
We encourage the wearing of masks.
We ask everyone attending this event, if possible, to take a Lateral Flow Test on the day of the event. However, we will not be checking proof of negative test on the door.
If you have any symptoms of COVID-19 such as sore throat, continuous headache, dry cough, runny nose, loss of taste of smell or gastro issues, or have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, we ask that you do not attend and instead request a refund.
Refunds - We do not offer refunds for any tickets purchased unless in the case of self isolation. Ticket resales will be enabled if we sell out. We will only issue refunds in the case of self isolation after the 7 November.

Andro and Eve are a queer arts organisation based in South Yorkshire. They create memorable events to celebrate queer culture where everyone is welcome. Their programming is focused on voices otherwise marginalised, to reflect and celebrate the diversity that exists within the LGBTQ+ community.
Photography
We will have a photographer present at this event. If for whatever reason you do not wish to be photographed, please let one of the Andro and Eve team know and we'll make sure our photographer keeps you out of photos.
We ask that you do not take photos of anyone you do not know (except the performers), or make film recordings of the crowd / general event. This is to protect everyone in our space and safeguard their identity and location. Further guidance can be found in our Safer Spaces policy.
