Join our friendly hosts at 5pm for 5.30 Speed Dating start, then once the ice is broken come to our after party.
Unlike “normal” speed dating, you'll be guided to our “topic areas”. We know that sometimes it can be hard to figure out what to say and most of us don't just want to talk about the boring stuff like work, so it's much more fun if we can talk about our favourite holiday destination, our first pet, polyamorous or definitely not, or other things that make you tick!

- Speed Dating or Speed Mating? Over the years, we’ve found that some LGBTQ women meet & form great new friendships (speed mates!), while others meet a romantic date or even a future wife.
- So at our speed dating, we let you tick for mates or tick for dates.
- Instead of spending weeks chatting online before you meet f2f, speed dating lets you have a 3- 4 min ice breaking chat with lots of women! We provide topic suggestions and women, you get to relax and have fun!
- ALL ages welcome! Many women are attracted to or would to be friends with women of different ages.

Why Oban Lesbian+ Weekend Events?
- Unlike so much online dating or other speed dating companies, we do it all on the night, and we have an after party, so instead of disappearing and not being able to remember names the next day, this way you can meet new women f2f and we make it easy to create connections.
- We are celebrating 20 years since our first speed dating events, down in Brighton. 20 YEARS AS AN LGBTQ+ OWNED BUSINESS, 5 YEARS OF BRINGING WOMEN FROM ACROSS THE WORLD TO OBAN FOR OBAN LESBIAN+ WEEKEND…hopefully, we've learnt a thing or 2 on the way.
