Ever had that flicker of familiarity - like you've lived a moment before?
Step into the surreal world of memory and imagination in Déjà Vu Dreams, a hands-on collage workshop exploring the hazy boundary between dreams and the past, inspired by Bold Tendencies’ 2025 theme of Déjà Vu. Using archival imagery and personal memories as inspiration, we will piece together new visual narratives that blur fiction, recollection, and fantasy.
Through playful and intuitive collage exercises, we will explore both personal and collective memory, creating layered, dreamlike compositions.
No experience needed. This is a relaxed, come-as-you-are session, and all materials are provided. You'll also get the chance to explore this year's 2026 Visual Arts Commissions, part of Bold Tendencies' 20th Anniversary theme, Euphoria.
When: Thursday 7 August | 14:30 - 16:00pm
Where: Bold Tendencies, Multi-Storey Car Park, Rye Lane, Peckham, SE15 4ST
