Whether you've never picked up an oil paintbrush before or simply want to explore a new creative medium, you're very welcome! You'll be guided step-by-step through the process of creating your own oil painting, learning the basics of colour mixing, blending, brush techniques, and layering along the way.

This is a chance to slow down, get creative, and enjoy some time away from the everyday. Come alone or bring a friend, just bring yourself and your creativity! No pressure to create a “perfect” painting. The focus is on having fun, experimenting and enjoying the process. Come paint, unwind, and discover your inner artist!
QueerSwap Studio is wheelchair accessible, but please note that the accessible toilet is located on the ground floor at main reception while ours is under construction. Tea and coffee are available, and you’re welcome to bring your own snacks or drinks into the studio. Please refrain from bringing nuts or shellfish.
