'How The Apprentice Made Margate Gay' with Bob Chicalors
As part of LGBT History Month, Margate Pride invites you to Join Bob Chicalors (aka Janet District Council) for a tongue-in-cheek appraisal of how the 2009 episode of The Apprentice, made Margate gay. Bob will talk us through the show and demonstrate its long-lasting impact on the area that is now (according to the 2021 census) the second queerest area in Kent (after Canterbury).
