Join us at The Common Press Bookshop on October 29th from 12 pm to 4 pm for an exciting Queer Family Day during the half-term break. This event promises a fun-filled day with various activities, including Halloween face painting, creative drawing sessions, Drag Tales by a fabulous drag artist, and a sound bath/ wellness session for adults. Free children's tickets and Pay What You Can tickets for adults are available.
The afternoon will be hosted by Tobi Adebajo (they/them), a multi-talented artist, writer, and experienced birth and death doula. Tobi, who also brings their insights as a parent, will expertly guide families on a journey toward wellness.
Throughout the day, Tobi will lead engaging activities and discussions that encourage self-care, foster connections, and promote resilience within families. Participants will have the chance to explore and enhance their physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
