“We are not disposable”
RESCHEDULED
✨✨✨
The Vagina Museum wants you!
And your trans related disposables!
The next exhibition in Anarcha’s Gallery at the Vagina Museum will be a co-created sculpture/ collage/ installation. The theme is the disposable nature of a lot of the things surrounding transition and trans life – med packets, gender affirming product packaging, paperwork – whatever you find piling up around you! The goal is to produce both personal narratives and a collective accounting of what it's like to be trans in a material sense.
We'll be running two workshops with trans people to explore and exhibit this trans ephemera. All, some or none of the above things might be relevant to you and your trans identity – there is no right or wrong way to be trans, so participation is not based on use of HRT, surgical intervention, dress, pronouns or anything else.
This is an opportunity to take part in and co-create a piece of trans celebratory art that will be displayed in the Vagina Museum for 3-4 months.
