Join us at The Common Press Bookshop on December 19th from 10 am to 4 pm for an exciting Queer Family Day during the festive season. This event promises a fun-filled day with various activities, including creative drawing sessions and Drag Tales by the fabulous drag artist Tania LeCoq. Free children's tickets and Pay What You Can tickets for adults are available.
Throughout the day, there will be workshops, activities and discussions on self-care, foster connections, and promote resilience within families.
You will get the chance to engage with:
Lucca (Illustrator)

Lucca is an artist who lives on a windy hill in Devon. Some of her previous creative work includes stop-motion animations, political illustration, murals, sign painting and performance. This is her first illustrated book. She can often be found in the garden with Gavin the cat.

Tania LeCoq (Drag performer)

Tania LeCoq, not to be confused with anything naughty, but she sure likes to get INvolved! Tania loves to lube up the audience, she’s a queen of the people, she’s funny, she dances, but above it all she is just a ball of energy, bigger than her make-up, taller than her heels is indeed her personality.
