Something wicked is coming to Dalston…
The clocks are going back, the spirits are stirring, and the darker nights are calling us out to play.
This Halloween, The Common Press joins forces with Big Hug Brewing for a night of queer mischief, haunting words and wicked music.
Join us on 31 October, from 6:30pm–1am, as we gather the beautifully strange for spooky readings and dance-floor encounters. Discover a chilling tale among the shelves, settle in for readings to send shivers down your spine and head through the secret stairway downstairs, where our DJs will keep you moving into the night.
Dress to possess. Think gothic glamour, creatures of folklore, camp horror or whatever’s been lurking in your wardrobe, waiting for its moment.
Bring your friends, summon your crush or arrive solo and see who the night sends your way.
Free entry before 9pm / £10 after.
The night unfolds:
- 6:30pm: Doors open
- 7:30pm: Spooky readings
- 9pm–1am: DJs and dancing
